Community Works Together

Thursday, September 10th, 2009

Today the community and city pulled together to make something special happen in our neighborhood. City Parks and Recreation, Kaboom, Friends of Chimbo Park, CHA, folks from all over the Hills and Home Depot all pulled together and built a playground and garden plots that are a thing of functional beauty - and fun for kids. The community should be justifiable proud of itself today and showed what good old team and community spirit is all about. Posting soon on this site of all the businesses and individuals that made contributions to make this wonderful event possible. Thanks for eveyone’s participation and hard work for such a great cause and facelift for our neighborhood park.
